Strobotop

Local best-selling children's author, scanimation artist and independent filmmaker, Rufus Seder, calls his Strobotop "RetroTech" because it combines elements of traditional animation with LED electronics. By pointing the strobe light at the spinning top and varying the intensity of the strobe, you can make horses gallop, dogs run, hummingbirds fly and geometric patterns do all kinds of crazy things — 18 different discs per set, with a set of 18 additional images available separately. Included in each set are several blank discs for experimenting with your own designs.
