Some call them jelly marbles... or water gel crystal beads... water jelly crystals... whatever you call them, these are really cool. Scientists would call them a copolymer of sodium acrylic and acrylamide. You get a little package of tiny colored beads — just add water and in a few hours you will have not tiny colored beads but plump marbles, that roll and bounce and can be used in flower arrangements to boot. We're not even going to list all the other ways they are fun but take it from us, this is a serious amount of fun for $2.50! bonus: non-toxic!
